Free ID CDL Tanker Vehicles Practice Test 2024

Idaho’s dairy and agricultural sectors rely heavily on tanker trucks to transport bulk liquids, especially milk, from farms to processing plants. After all, this state is one of the top dairy producers in the United States, and there’s a high demand for commercial drivers who hold a Tank Vehicles (N) endorsement on their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

The weather in the Gem State can pose challenges for beginner drivers who might not be familiar with the area. Heavy snowfall and icy roads create dangerous conditions during winter months, especially in the northern region. As a tanker driver, you must follow all safety protocols for handling liquid or gaseous cargo. That’s why the Tank Vehicles endorsement is granted only after passing a Tank Vehicles knowledge test, where a minimum score of 80% is required.

Initially, you’ll find all the necessary information in the official 2024 CDL manual (Idaho CDL Handbook 2024). This valuable resource is published by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), and it covers all aspects of commercial driving, including the Tank Vehicles endorsement. While you can certainly pass the official exam by memorizing this material, you might struggle with its complex content.

Aspiring tanker drivers who want to master this subject must expand their horizons and adopt a smarter approach. To save you the time and effort of looking for better alternatives, we offer a series of Idaho CDL Tank Vehicles endorsement practice tests. You can access them from anywhere, anytime, as long as you have an active internet connection. Each practice test has 20 questions based on the CDL manual. Unlike the official written exam, our practice tests do not have a timer, allowing you to analyze, research and reread each question before submitting an answer.

You shouldn’t pay attention to your test scores while you are still in the learning phase. But if you are not satisfied with the progress of an active session, you can press the designated restart button, which will wipe your progress and restart the session. To reduce similarities between each session, the order of the questions is randomized.
